What to expect in your visit:
You will meet with your Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (also knows as a Psych NP). Your provider is your mental health guide. Topics can be chosen by the patient or by the provider. Your provider may ask you questions to facilitate the discussion and to help develop goals to achieve success. You may be asked to complete questionnaires which help to obtain baseline scores for such things as depression, anxiety, sleep issues or more. This is your time and you can use the time to discuss what's on your mind.
